- Next single: Chinese Notebook - out February 10th, 2013.
A big email went around this morning clearing up things for the next release & things are definitely starting to move!
To clear up the information as it’s been a bit patchy:
The next single is called ‘Chinese Notebook’. It will be released on February 10th.Lyrically, it’s an observational track about the society we live in.
It is currently being mixed by the great Scrimshire. There will be remixes to accompany the release from some great artists we know and love & there will also be a video.
We’ll be looking to get features on blogs so if you run one/know anyone that does, please get in touch.

HHS The Fathers Day video has now reached 1000 views! As a celebration and a thank you to all who’ve seen and shown support for the Fathers Day release, here’s a video accompaniment to the Polarbear version of Fathers Day. Put together by our Ryan, highlighting some very special times us guys have had working together in the Blue Barn!

HHS- Fathers Day on the Radio
Fathers Day was played on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire a week ago for the Introducing show and last night was the first song to be played on Tom Robinson’s BBC Radio 6 Introducing show. Amazing!
Today is the day! Our very first release ‘Fathers Day’ has been released! (Due to the number of tracks it actually qualifies as an EP!) Thanks to those that have already purchased it!
You can get the ‘Deluxe’ 7-track EP directly from www.highhopessociety.bandcamp.com for £3 (or name your own price if you’re feeling generous).
Alternatively the 4track EP is available for purchase from iTunes, Amazon and many more online shops. There is a FREE download of the single from the Bandcamp or we will send you the free single + a free remix if you signup to our mailing list (see form at top).
The official video accompaniment was filmed by Lightscape Music (hope you all enjoyed the teaser video) at BlueBarn Studio.Also available are a very limited run of 20 physical copies for £5 (plus P&P). The cases were all lovingly hand-printed by Akira Samata so no two will be the same! There are still some available on our BigCartel site.
